With the release of united in stormwind, mage got a new spell called hot streak that is basically like preparation but for fire spells. With hot streak, grand finale (a spell that summons mass elementals for 8 mana) can be played very very early (also with the help of the coin and mailbox dancer). So basically the plan is, play a lot of elementals the turn before you can play grand finale and then play grand finale for a big damage turn. And do it as early as possible. So why is nobody talking about the grand finale elemental mage in united in stormwind?
