Mill Druid | Wild Hearthstone | Druid Deck
SUMMARY:
The goal of this Hearthstone Control Deck is simple, force our opponent to draw all their cards far too fast for them to deal with, losing their deck and burning many of their cards in the process! To do this we run cards that force our opponents to draw cards such as Dew Process Naturalize, and Mistah Vistah to repeat things such as Dew Process and Naturalizes. Due to running Mistah Vistah we also gain access to a very potent board clear in the form of Rising Waves (which full clears the board when paired with Poison Seeds). All our spells can be doubled up with Solar Eclipse as well to either force our opponent to draw even more cards or get more value out of them. Seabreeze Chalice is now the new addition that has replaced the one copy of Ashen Elemental and Brann Bronzebeard to give us a favorable time into aggro matchups (thanks to https://www.youtube.com/@laratths for the idea) and other than that we run a typical control Druid shell with cards that either ramp, gain armor, cheat mana, or draw such as Moonlit Guidance, Invigorate, Frost Lotus Seedling, Wildheart Guff, Aquatic Form, and Sleep Under the Stars. For actual good board clears we run a few good minions such as Zilliax Deluxe 3000 (set to summon a copy of itself for immediate healing), The Ceaseless Expanse and Eonar the Life-Binder for tons of options that can help us win the game. Sir Finley allows us to throw away bad hands while we continue on our game plan of milling our opponent. Once our opponent is milled or we grab / cast both of our Dew Processes, we can replace our deck with either Jade Idol (tucked in our ETC) or use Kil’Jaeden to start overwhelming our opponent with an infinite deck so we never fatigue while also gaining tons and tons of huge Demons over the course of a long game. Theotar the Mad Duke is also in this deck so we can steal some high value things from our opponent or disrupt their combos and we can use Steamcleaner to destroy an opposing Druid’s Jade Idols or anything important that has been shuffled into an opponent’s deck if that’s what they decide to use. Dirty Rat has finally snuck his way into this deck without talking by replacing Eredar Brutes due to Seabreeze Chalice, Poison Seeds, and Rising Waves being so efficient at what they do that Eredar Brutes are effectively useless in almost all cases. Now we have a 3 mana 2-card combo that can effectively destroy anything that comes out of our opponent’s hand by using Dirty Rat and Naturalize, which can immediately and instantly ruin some combos or destroy incredible important / high value minions from our opponent’s deck.
That’s right, the list for Mill Druid has finally changed. We took out both Coldlight Oracles, Bob the Bartender, and Twin Zilliax and instead put in 2 Grove Shapers, 1 Ysera Emerald Aspect, and 1 Wild Growth. Ysera allows us to not completely depend on Wildheart Guff to ramp up and hit above 20 Mana while Grove Shapers are finally the only thing we need to “burst” mill our opponent down (instead of Coldlight Oracles), simply running a bunch of Naturalizes into a combo against decks is good enough as a finisher to burn around 20 cards in a single turn very easily.
