Doubloon Grifter is a Tier 4 Pirate, that increases your maximum gold each time you add 4 Pirates into your hand. Normally this is too slow and not that great because you need to both get this card very early in the game but also get lucky with your shops. Sometimes, that does happen and you end up getting rewarded with a lot of economy and stats. In this game, I already knew that I was going to win so I decided to go for the biggest amount of maximum gold rather than be as strong as possible.
