Pirate Deathrattle was an average comp before the patch. To win or at least get top 4, you need to find too many pieces to compete with other comps that need way less luck to win the game. Even with that, the comp was nerfed because Sky Pirate Flagbearer no longer summons Sky Pirates that attack immediately, it summons Scallywags. Since they don’t attack immediately, you rely so much more on the fight RNG. However, Hawkstrider Herald came back to the game, which compliments Cruise Controller. The chicken can now replace Monstrous Macaw, which means that you can taunt the Cruise Controller. In other words, you are less reliant on fight RNG. This is a bit of a different Pirate comp that works differently so make sure to watch until the end!
