For the longest time, Free To Play meant that you get to choose between 2 heroes instead of 4. With the recent update, that also means that you have no hero re-rolls so reaching high MMR is slightly harder especially at the end of the meta when it becomes clear what heroes are good and what are not. Just to give myself a bit of a challenge, I decided to go for as high MMR as I want without the Battle Pass and I managed to get to over 17,000, which puts me in the top 10 of the Chinese server. Keep in mind that buying a Battle Pass does not directly result in getting higher MMR but it definitely is more fun when you can choose to play the heroes that you like.
