WoW’s Midsummer Fire Festival holiday event is back for 2019 in BfA, so here’s a quick guide to catch you up on what’s new! Midsummer Fire Festival 2019 introduces one new toy- the Fire Eater’s Hearthstone cosmetic hearthstone toy. It costs 300 Burning Blossoms and can be purchased from Midsummer holiday vendors in capital cities.
The addon I use in this video to see Midsummer Fire Festival bonfires on my world map and minimap is Handynotes! Install both HandyNotes and HandyNotes_Summer Festival (found on your favourite addon platform such as the Twitch app) and then type /HandyNotes to adjust your settings if needed.
While the event runs, you can transmog Midsummer appearances! You can also get a satchel from the Frostlord Ahune Midsummer holiday boss once per day per character for chances at loots such as the Frigid Frostling pet, Frostscythe of Lord Ahune staff (which can be transmogged year round) and Deathfrost enchanting illusion. Don’t forget to take advantage of the ribbon dance buff for 10% more experience from killing monsters! To get the buff, click the pole and run in circles around it until your character starts spinning. Once you’re spinning, you can stop running and just let the Midsummer exp buff rack up to a 60 minute duration.
